Many press reports have revealed that the Argentinian football star Lionel Messi, will be having his first acting experience, through the online streaming platform Star Plus.
Messi has already done commercials of all kinds, even starring alongside the late basketball star Kobe Bryant in one, now the 34-year-old will try television next.
"Marca" newspaper stated that Messi participated in the second season of the "Los Protectores" series, which is scheduled to air in 2023 on Star+ in Latin America, was filmed in various locations in the Paris and Buenos Aires, but the duration of Messi's appearance on the screen was not revealed.
Los Protectores is an Argentine/Spanish comedy series about three near-bankrupt football agents who pool their resources together to get back on top.
