THAT AL SALASIL’s journey began in Kuwait back in 1972, when Abdulaziz Al-Mansour and his brother Abdullah started the business, and since then, it has been successfully operating in Kuwait, the GCC and MENA region.
We started out as book publishers and distributors and later on expanded our business to include tobacco, fashion & accessories and retail. Year after year, the Mansour brothers’ commitment in selecting the most interesting and high quality content turned THAT AL SALASIL into one of the major publishers in the Middle East. This enabled us to position ourselves with distinctive brand names and build a strategic presence throughout Kuwait’s commercial network.
Our strength stems from expanding our services in various ways such as opening many branches of bookstores at the major areas in Kuwait to be available to our customers.
On the retail side, we represent famous names; some of them are: World Duty Free, a renowned name in the international duty free business, La Casa Del Habano, the world famous Cuban cigar brand
Plus having one of the elite brands in fashion such as Hackett of London one of British beloved men’s clothing, Furla Italy’s best leather goods to Shanghai tang Hong Kong’s luxury lifestyle brand.
Also brand names we carry and the affiliations we hold with Kuwait’s Ministries of Education and of Finance, delivering products from world class names like “Pearson Education.” and “De la Rue”.
