Commenting on the first edition of Burgan Talk, Mr. Bashar Al-Qattan, Manager of Talent Empowerment at Burgan Bank, said: “At Burgan Bank, we seek to develop our employee’s capabilities and broaden their horizons by launching interactive and engagement-focused initiatives such as Burgan Talk. This initiative in particular exposes our employees to successful and influential figures from across different industries, allowing them to exchange valuable ideas and gain useful insights. In this inaugural episode of Burgan Talk, we chose to focus on the very important topic of women’s empowerment, and we couldn’t think of a better guest for this than Bibi Al-Khudari, who has become one of Kuwait’s most inspiring female journalists and social figures.”
Al-Qattan added: “Through our Burgan Talk program, we intend to continue showcasing important topics that are relevant and interesting for our staff, and which contribute to their growth and development. This first Burgan Talk marks the beginning of what we truly do believe is an exciting program and one of our most important internal initiatives in years. The goal is to continue to build a culture of positivity and constant learning amongst our staff, where great ideas can develop and flourish.”
