Tamdeen Group, Kuwait’s leading mixed-use property developer, won three prestigious awards for the Al Kout and 360 Kuwait projects, during the 2019 Middle East Council of Shopping Centres Awards, held in Dubai. The awards recognized the malls’ excellence and innovation in marketing, social media, technology and customer experience.
Leading the way in innovation and utilizing digital to enhance customer experience, 360 Kuwait, Kuwait’s first sports, retail and leisure destination, won Gold for its innovative Chatbot “Nouf”, in the “Emerging Technology” and “Customer Service Experience” categories. Nouf is an Artificial Intelligence bilingual platform that customers can engage with on popular chat apps such as Whatsapp and Messenger, to answer any questions and provide insights on brands and services available at the mall. A step further than script-fed bots, Nouf has a witty and engaging personality that is almost like chatting to a friendly, human personal assistant, and is groundbreaking in Kuwait as the first of it’s kind. Continuing their endeavors in advanced technology, 360 Kuwait also won Gold for their Social WiFi Program in the “Digital/Social Media” Category. Social WiFi is an analytical software that utilizes the mall’s free WiFi service to build a centralized database helping direct dedicated marketing messages to the customers based around their interests and likes.
The Council also recognized Al Kout, Kuwait’s largest waterfront retail and leisure destination, by awarding them a Silver award for their recent marketing program, in the “Sales Promotions & Events” category. Al Kout’s celebrity driven Winter program, which featured Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, International makeup artist and mega influencer Nikkie of Nikkie Tutorials, and the official Nickelodeon live show of the ever-popular SpongeBob SquarePants won critical acclaim with the mall’s customer base, providing world-class entertainment at their doorsteps.
Commenting on the multiple wins, Tamdeen Mall Management Chief Executive Officer, Avijit Yadav, said: “These awards are the culmination of hard work by the malls’ teams and are testament to our passion for technology and how it can augment customer experiences. This is the ninth year in a row that the Tamdeen group has won international awards for it’s shopping and entertainment projects, and we plan on continuing to exceed our customer expectations with the exceptional experiences we offer in our projects.”
