As part of The Sultan Center’s campaign to promote “Healthy Eating” and spreading awareness among the younger generation on the importance of being active and making healthy food choices, The Sultan Center supported the Gulf English School in their annual sports day event.
Held at Salmiya Park, the GES annual sporting event was attended by over 500 parents and students. During the event, TSC team provided students with gift bags filled with nutritious snacks and drinks an essential in maintaining a high level of energy throughout the day.
In order to further promote healthy eating habits among the younger generation, TSC continues to promote and encourage children to try a healthy snack alternative by offering them a chance to sample fruit whenever they visit any TSC store, each store has set up a table along with signage that attracts and welcomes children to try a piece of fruit as their parents’ shop.
Lisa Al-Ghareeb, Marketing Manager at TSC said: “TSC plays active role in supporting today’s youth and encouraging children to make healthy food choices that will bring lifelong benefits. We have received very positive feedback from parents and customer on this initiative and plan to launch similar activities that encourage and promote healthy eating habits at an early stage in their life”.
GES sport’s day was a true demonstration on staying fit and eating healthy.
