As part of its educational and social responsibility program and in observance of International Day for People with Disabilities (IDFPWD), The Sultan Center hosted the students of Khalifa School at its Salmiya Branch.
Accompanied by their teachers and guided by TSC’s store team, students learned about the various departments within the store, they watched as staff stocked the shelves, built displays, cut meat and saw first-hand how groceries are packed. The tour proved to be both educational and fun for the students and teachers.
Staff members enjoyed celebrating IDFPWD day with the students of Khalifa School as they expressed their love and gratitude by writing and drawing their feelings on a large board; they also played music and sang songs along with the TSC team. At the end of the visit, TSC staff provided the children with gift bags of healthy snacks.
TSC has always been at the forefront in supporting educational opportunities and in raising awareness about the capabilities of those with special needs and their contribution in building a healthy productive society.
