Maamoul Mad B Ashta Ingredients:
375 g coarse semolina - 2 1/2 cups
150g flour - 1 cup + 2 tbsp
150 gm ghee - 3/4 cup
150 ml water
75g sugar -1/3 cup
15 grams powdered milk - 2 tbsp
2 tbsp sugar syrup
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp yeast
1200 gr Ashta
Sugar syrup
Pistachio
Tray size diameter 35cm
Notes regarding Maamoul Mad B Ashta Preparation:
- Add sugar in the beginning with ghee and water.
- After mixing all the ingredients, leave the dough aside for 5 minutes.
- After shaping the tray and brushing it with ghee, leave it for 10 minutes before placing it in the oven.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for 25 minutes.
