The Lebanese Frakeh

Frakeh is a Lebanese traditional food made from pounded raw meat, burghul, Cumin, salt and little water to help mix all ingredients perfectly.

Frakeh is served with fresh olive oil on top of it, along with radish and some green leaves like mint as shown in the photo below and to eat the Lebanese Frakeh, you need Lebanese flat bread and in villages, people eat it with saj bread.

The Lebanese Frakeh is found in almost all Lebanese villages and was recently added to the menu of Lebanese restaurants in many countries.

Note: Frakeh is forbidden for pregnant women because the meat is uncooked.
