How to Prepare Knafeh with Ashta at Home

In a pan, add 2L of milk, 600ml of thickened cream, 1 cup of sugar and 2 cups of semolina , 2 hipped tablespoon of corn flour.

Mix well on high heat until the mixture thickens.

Add rosewater and orange blossom water and continue stirring until thick.

Meanwhile, in a tray, spray cooking oil over the tray and add cornflake crumbs to the base of tray.

After base is covered with a thin layer of cornflake crumbs, add the cream mixture into tray and cover the top with cornflake crumbs.

Allow to cool, then add sugar syrup depending on how sweet you want it.

And cut it and serve it with crushed pistachios.
