Burgan Bank recently concluded its participation in the 9th eGovernment Forum (EGOV9); which was held in collaboration with event organizer Nouf EXPO for Exhibitions and Conferencing and under the patronage of His Excellency, Mr. Mazen Saad Ali Al-Nahed, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Affairs. The event took place with the participation of various government agencies, as well as many private sector companies, and numerous other institutions involved in the development of Kuwait’s e-government project.
The forum was held under the slogan “The eGovernment is the Cornerstone of Comprehensive Development Renaissance”. During the event, His Excellency the Minister toured the various exhibitions and booths on site. Speaking during his tour, Al Nahed noted that development in Kuwait continues to take a more advanced and sophisticated approach, leveraging various technological solutions and resources to drive growth. He further added that the e-government project continues to be at the heart of the “Comprehensive Development Renaissance” in Kuwait and a major step towards achieving the New Kuwait 2035 vision.
Mr. Mohammad Mansour Al-Mael - Head of Corporate Banking - AGM at Burgan Bank, accepted an honorary trophy on behalf of the Bank, in recognition of the Bank’s sponsorship.
