Burgan Bank has received the Payment Card Information Security Standards certification (PCI-DSS 3.2.1) for the second consecutive year, confirming its commitment to comply with the application of the best global standards to protect its credit cards.
The PCI-DSS is the highest level of protection provided to customers, developed by reputed international organizations such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express. This certificate, granted by ControlCase, is awarded to banks that adhere to the highest international standards ensuring data security on credit cards and bank payments. ControlCase is an international company accredited by the Payment Card Information Security Standards Council and authorized by Visa International to award PCI-DSS certification. Burgan Bank’s information security systems and networks have successfully passed ControlCase’s extensive testing and the Bank was certified by merit of adhering to all international requirements.
