The award was presented to General Manager Didier Jardin during a glittering ceremony in the opulent surroundings of Château de Ferrières, a palatial 18th century manor house that was originally built for Baron James de Rothschild. First held in 2003, the annual Prix Villégiature Awards celebrate the finest hotels and luxury hospitality experiences across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
A monument to sculptural refinement, the Hotel’s indoor swimming pool is located in the calming, restrained and ethereal environment of the Spa. Its architecture is based on a modern colonnade, while the water is illuminated by dozens of glowing lanterns hanging at different heights.
