Last week, we visited the new branch of Al Forno in Arabella and enjoyed a great Italian lunch. The restaurant's atmosphere was nice and warm, the food was good and the service as well.
At first, they served us a welcome appetizer which is 3 pieces of bread, red sauce and black olives.
As for the appetizer, we ordered Al Forno's unique recipe, Zuchinni Fritti, which is deep fried courgettes with marinara sauce.
Its taste is strange and if you don't like courgettes, you won't like the taste because the overwhelming taste is that of the courgettes.
The price of this appetizer is 2.150 KD.
As for the main dish, we ordered Monachelle Al Forno, Malformati Con Polpette, Fettuccine Con Funghi Porcini and Margarita Pizza.
The photo on the left below is the Monachelle Al Forno and it's fresh pasta shells baked with rosemary chicken, roasted pine nuts, baby spinach in a creamy sauce and mixed cheese topping.
The price of the Monachelle Al Forno is 3.950 KD and it's taste is wow! Give it a try.
The photo below on the right is that of the Malformati Con Polpette which is a uniquely shaped pasta with homemade meatballs in succulent sauce and topped with pangrattato.
This delicious dish is Al Forno's signature pasta and its price is 3.950 KD.
The Fettuccine Con Funghi Porcini is Fettucini served with forest and porcini mushroom cream sauce with chicken as shown in the photos below.
We advise you to try this great dish and its price is 4.450 KD.
The Margarita Pizza looks so good and fresh. The taste is also nice but will be better if it had more sauce but the cheese and the dough thickness are perfect.
The price of Al Forno's Margarita pizza is 3.250 KD.
After lunch, they served us scented wipes and a cold shot of lemon and orange juice that looks like lemonade. The juice is so nice; we really liked the idea.
All in all, the staff were so friendly and they made us feel comfortable and our lunch was good and satisfying.
We recommend passing by Al Forno if you are willing to have a yummy lunch.
