Huawei Kuwait, a leading provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices registered under KDIPA, held the “Ramadan Media Gathering 2024” on Tuesday, 19th of March, 2024 at the Al Joory Ballroom in Waldorf Astoria.
The Ghabqa’s objective was to strengthen the ties between Huawei and the media and its partners. In addition, to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan with the media to show Huawei’s appreciation for their support while paving the way for greater understanding between them. The Ghabqa was co-organized by Huawei Kuwait Corporate and Device team with the presence of Kuwait Device Office Marketing team Li Yiqi, the Marketing Director. Humood Al-Shaheen, the Public Relations Manager; Di Xu, the Public Affairs and Communications Director and Fang Zhao Media Manager from Huawei Corporate team who warmly welcomed the guests and wished them a blessed Ramadan and thanked them for their constant support.
Valued guests arrived to Huawei’s Ghabqa that varies from press, media influencers, tv stations, ministry representatives, and including some distinguished guests from the Chinese embassy. HUAWEI FreeClip, a fashionable earbud which set a high standard of design among other products in the market will showcased during the Ghabqa to the distinguished guests to experience.
In the meantime, Huawei released the 《Huawei Kuwait ICT Development White Paper 2024》. The white paper introduces Huawei's comprehensive ICT talent cultivation program in Kuwait, including the Kuwait Talent Enabling Program (K-TEP), Huawei ICT Academies, Social Training Cooperation, and its CSR Programs, which aim to provide more academic resources to the community while stimulating ICT interest among the youth of the country. The whitepaper shows Huawei’s dedication to providing various educational resources to reduce the talent gap, stimulate interest in the ICT field, and of¬fer support to Kuwait on its digital transformation roadmap.
