Burgan Bank concluded its participation in the Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) Expo which hosted Kuwait’s local banks at the Authority’s headquarters, in an effort to introduce the institution’s staff to the diverse banking products and services available in Kuwait. Burgan Bank’s participation comes as part of its commitment to raising the public awareness on the banking sector’s products and services, as well as the banking solutions that serve their different needs – an effort that aims at propelling the local economy forward
The Expo included a dedicated booth through which the Burgan team showcased the Bank’s products and services which offer outstanding and diverse banking solutions that are guaranteed to meet PAHW employee’s varied needs. This comes as an important step and an extension to Burgan Bank’s efforts to raise awareness of the role that Kuwaiti banks play in supporting the domestic economy and ensuring the development and welfare of society; as well as satisfying people’s needs, staying relevant to their aspirations, and meeting their everyday evolving requirements. The Bank also used the opportunity to introduce visitors to key messages of the “Let’s Be Aware” campaign– the national financial literacy campaign that Burgan Bank is part of, in collaboration with the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK), the Kuwait Banking Association (KBA) and all of Kuwait’s local banks. The campaign aims at raising financial awareness and reinforcing knowledge about the Kuwaiti banking sector, in addition to customers’ rights and duties.
Commenting on the Bank’s participation in the PAHW Expo, Ms. May Humoud Al-Sabti - Team Leader of Central Sales at Burgan Bank, stated: “It delights us to take part in the PAHW Expo for the positive platform it makes, through which we are able to fulfill the banking needs of the Authority’s staff by introducing them to our wide range of banking services and products, while listening to their evolving banking aspirations and requirements. It is also an excellent opportunity for us to contribute, as an esteemed national financial institution, to raising more awareness on the local banking sector.”
On her part, Ms. Hessa Hussain Al-Najadah, Senior Manager of Corporate and CSR Communications at Burgan Bank, said: “Our participation in initiatives such as this goes hand-in-hand with our financial literacy efforts under the umbrella of CBK’s “Let’s Be Aware” awareness campaign.
