As part of the successful implementation of ‘Responsible Awareness Programme’, Al Bustan Centre & Residence partners with NMC Hospital to gain a better understanding of headache assessment and management.
The workshop led by Dr Tareeq Aldabbas, a Specialist Neurologist at NMC Hospital addressed all the employees on assessment and treatment of common headache conditions, such as migraine and tension-type headaches, diagnosis, medical and non-medical treatments, and headache management resources.
As the most common neurological problem seen by doctors worldwide, more than half the world's population experiences some form of headache each year.
Al Bustan Centre and Residence undertakes a series of programs for its employees every year to educate and promote good health. The event brought together hotel management and staff across all departments who are reminded with the old passage ‘Health is Wealth’ which means a healthy body means a healthy lifestyle. An interactive question and answer session arranged post the presentation by Dr Tareeq, where staff members asked queries related to headaches and illness, followed by giving out unique hampers by NMC Hospital to all the participants.
